  Yes he is bigger than your brother.

2- Is  it expensive? (in Brighton)

    Yes, it is more expensive than in Brighton.

3- Are they early? (last week)

   Yes, they are earlier than last week.

4- Is it easy ? (the first exercise)

   Yes, it is easier than the first exercise.

5- Is his idea good? (yours)

  Yes, his idea is better than yours.

6- Is she romantic ? (my friends)

   Yes, she is more romantic than my friends.

7- Is it comfortable ? (this chair)

  Yes, it is more comfortable than this chair.

8- Is it dark ? (in the cellar)

   Yes, it is darker than in the cellar.

adjectifs longs = more +  adj. + than

adjectifs courts = adj. + -er + than

exceptions

adj. en Y = -ier  =>  pretty = prettier

adj consonne /voyelle/consonne = doublement de la consonne = big = bigger / fat = fatter

Mais en général ,  "as + adj. + as " est un comparatif d'égalité

ex = she is as beautiful as you.  (elle est aussi belle que toi)

Mais là, toutes  les phrases étant négatives, cela devient un comparatif d'infériorité.

ex= she isn't as beautiful as you . (elle n'est pas aussi belle que toi)

Il y a un autre comparatif d'infériorité qui est =

less + adjectif (long et court)  + than

ex: she is less beautiful than you (elle est moins belle que toi)
